I pedaled very easily in class for 35 minutes because yesterday was a fairly hard day. Then I did 15 minutes of core work for abs, back, and sides. Core work was more strenuous than the riding. I did these exercises fairly regularly through early March and felt at the time that they helped my riding. I became a slug after my surgery and after I started riding again, I exercised only legs. Now, I feel that the legs are pretty good -- there's room for improvement, of course -- and it's time to start working on other parts of the body.
